Whether he’s dancing on the sidelines, entertaining the crowd, or getting into some hilarious game-day shenanigans, Sir Purr has become a fan favorite throughout Panthers Nation.

🐾 THE LEGEND OF SIR PURR

From Bank of America Stadium to appearances throughout the Carolinas, this larger-than-life black panther has spent decades representing the fun side of Carolina football.

But one moment in particular earned him a permanent place in Panthers history.

During a game in 1996, Sir Purr jumped on a live football in the end zone, prompting the unforgettable call:

“WHAT’S THAT BEAR DOING?!” 😂

And just like that, a legendary Panthers moment was born.
